Mrs. Darlene Kostelnik

Mrs. Darlene Kostelnik has been at Cardinal Hickey Academy since it opened its doors in 1997. She is currently the Technology Director, teaches technology for grades Kindergarten through Grade 8, and is the Assistant Principal. She designed, implemented, and maintains the computer network and all computer-related equipment. She sponsors the school Equestrian Club and volunteers with Lilly Pond Foal Rescue. Before entering education, Mrs. Kostelnik worked at Mantech International (Pax River) as a systems analyst for NavAir contracts (1983-1986) and worked as a programmer analyst for the Photo Products Division of E. I. DuPont de Nemours (1979-1982). She is married with two children. Her daughter is a professional photographer and accomplished equestrian. Her son is a Navy E-2 pilot.
