Mrs. Molly Boone
Mrs. Boone received her BA in Human Development at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and earned her teaching certificate at California State University of Monterey Bay. Mrs. Boone taught 8th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies to mostly Spanish speaking students in Soledad, CA. She also taught second grade for two years at St. Leonard Elementary. She has been at CHA since 2000 and is currently teaching fifth grade. Mrs. Boone has backpacked through Europe, Egypt, and Israel for 16 months. She has also worked in England, Germany, and Israel. When in Israel, she lived and worked on a kibbutz. She has also led a group of students on a six-week mission trip to Ghana where they worked at an orphanage. Her greatest interest is traveling. Before teaching, Mrs. Boone worked as an archaeologist in St. Mary’s City, MD. She spent one and half years traveling through Europe and parts of Africa and the Middle East and then worked as a student travel agent (Council Travel) for students studying and traveling abroad. She is the child of a Naval officer. She is married and has two sons and a daughter. Her children attend CHA.
