Safety Patrols

Students in grades 7-8 are eligible to apply to be part of the school Safety Patrols. The Safety Patrols, coordinated by Mrs. McGeeney, help students arrive safely into school each morning and assist during dismissal time.

CHA Honor Society

Cardinal Hickey Academy Honor Society is based on the same criteria as the National Junior Honor Society. Students are eligible for membership in the 7th, and 8th grades. Students must have attended the Academy for one complete school year prior to an invitation to participate. Additionally, students must maintain a 90% average in core subjects.

Student Government Association

The S.G.A. is an organization conducted by students under the supervision of Mr. Harper and Mrs. Hill. The purpose of the S.G.A. is to give students the opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. The officer board consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Students in the grades 6-8 who are in good academic standing and abide by the CHA Code of Conduct may run for these elected positions.
